Goals Survey

  • Grade 3: Nothing due.
  • Grades 4-6: (March Project) On March 19th, Hubble 3D, a documentary film, arrives in theaters.  You will be working in groups of 2-3 to create a 1-2 page newsletter-style report about the Hubble Telescope & a mini-biography of Edwin Hubble using Microsoft Publisher.  Your team will need to research information online and include such information as Edwin Hubble, the Hubble Telescope, NASA, images, etc.  Layout, spelling, grammar and content should be the best it can be before printing out your final project. Watch the movie trailor here to get you started.  Find out where the Hubble Space Telescope is now by clicking here.  Download the rubric here.
  • GRADES 3-6:  Make sure you have a USB Flash Drive  if you want to save your work when working on the laptops and/or desktops - What is a Flash Drive?  Grade 6 can use Google Docs for free for file saving and/or file sharing when collaborating on projects.
  • ALL GRADES: Practice your typing skills using the Keyboarding section.  Complete Keyboarding Log.  Daily practice at home 5-10 minutes, if possible.  Additional keyboarding logs can be found in the Keyboarding section.
*Please note that the homework that is posted online for the week does not reflect any last-minute changes due to schedule changes, trips, special events and/or assemblies. Completing homework or projects is the sole responsibility of each student.
